LEARN AI WITH US

Our structured curriculum focuses on concepts central to the emerging field of AI, and gives members a chance to gain industry-relevant skills.

We run on a structured curriculum with three basic units.

1. Intro to AI

You'll learn the advantages of Machine Learning, key terminology including the difference between Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, and how to set up software tools.

2. Linear Regression and Optimization

You'll learn strategies to improve the accuracy of your machine learning models, including linear regression, loss functions, and gradient descent.

3. Advanced Machine Learning

Near the end of the year, we will introduce you to more advanced AI concepts, including Data Cleaning, K Nearest Neighbors Algorithm, and Neural Networks.

MEET THE TEAM

Yash Kodali
Co-President

Yash is a senior at Cupertino High School, and serves as the current co-president of Bay AI. He designs structured curricula filled with real examples and develops the code for demos and exercises. He also helps to secure sponsorships as well as identifies and invites guest speakers. Yash particularly loves exploring the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace, and Physics. He applies the experience and knowledge that he gained from various clubs, competitions, and courses to mentor other high school students. In his spare time, he loves learning new ways to solve problems and turning theory into practice. He uses his creativity, knowledge, and determination to write a myriad of computer programs, design and manufacture electronic projects, and loves to research new topics in the field of STEM.

Siddarth Mamidanna
Co-President

Siddarth is a 12th grader at Cupertino High School. His position at Bay AI is co-president, along with Yash. He has been interested in the field of AI for over a year and has taken multiple courses to reinforce his knowledge. These include an overnight advanced AI and data structures camp at Stanford University, certified online courses, as well as being a member of Bay AI during its first year. He continued to become an officer at Bay AI the next year, mentoring high schoolers and giving weekly lectures. Siddarth's lectures include interactive activities, demos, and exercises in order to create a more effective and collaborative environment for learners. Outside of Bay AI, he's very passionate about robotics; his team placed at the NorCal Championship during the 2018-2019 year, and he was on the Cupertino Robotics FRC team. He also enjoys competitive math, and qualified for the AIME.
